How long will my spray tan last?

Your spray tan will last around 7-10 days depending on the person and proper prep and aftercare. Take a look at our PREP AND AFTERCARE page.

How long does the appointment take?

The appointment should take no more than 20 minutes.

How long before an event should I be tanned?

Spray tans should ALWAYS be your last beauty service. It is recommended to spray 1-2 days prior to your event.

Can I spray tan before a Vacation?

ABSOLUTELY! Spray tanning before vacation is highly encouraged and very popular. You will show up already bronzed and beautiful and leave vacation with a natural tan.

Can I still burn in the sun after a spray tan?

YES! Spray tans do not contain any SPF. Use spray tan friendly sunscreen over your tan. The best sunscreens for spray tans are oil-free and alcohol-free and should be broad-spectrum.

Spray tan safe sunscreens: Sun Bum, Coola, Hawaiian Tropic, Dermalogica Oil-Free.

Do spray tans stain?

Spray tans are water-based and should not stain. While some color may transfer to fabrics before your initial rinse, rest assured that any marks can be easily washed out. This is why we encourage dark colored clothing and long sleeve shirts with long pants.

What is spray tanning?

Spray tans work by interacting with the outermost layer of dead skin cells and amino acids on your skin. The active ingredient, DHA, triggers a safe chemical reaction that alters the color of this top layer. Sourced from sugar cane and other natural materials, DHA is the key component in many sunless tanning products.

Does DST offer concierge services?

We provide house call services that you can easily schedule right here. The minimum fee for house calls is $100 within a 10-mile radius of our home studio. For locations beyond that distance, an extra charge of $1.00 per mile will apply, and we will notify you via text about this additional fee. If you have any questions before booking, feel free to email us anytime. If you are wanting to book an entire group email us for dates and pricing, as we offer discounted rates.

We ask that you have an appropriate location within your home suitable for a 4x4x7 tent, ensuring it has sufficient lighting and access to a nearby power outlet.

DST training deposits?

All deposits for training are non-refundable. If you cancel your training within 10 days of the course date, it will be treated as a 'no-show,' which may incur an extra cancellation fee and the forfeiture of your deposit. These conditions take effect as soon as a deposit is made.

Where is DST located?

We are located in Buda, Tx right off of State Highway 45 Southeast. The exact address will be provided the morning of your appointment.

What are DST policies?

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a 100% service charge fee.

Spray tan requires preparation. Prep begins 24 hours prior to your appointment. This means I cannot give same day cancellation appointments to someone else when you cancel.

NO SHOWS:
You will be charged 100% of the entire service you booked. You must pay the entire amount before being allowed to book again.

After the second time you will be banned from booking with DST.

RESCHEDULE:
If you need to reschedule, please do so 48 hours prior to your appointment. If it is within 48-hrs you can email us at diosaspraytansatx@gmail.com.

PAYMENT:

We require a credit card on file for ALL bookings. Payment will be due at the end of your appointment.
